Under the Sea Room – ages 3 through 4

Under the Sea Room

Older Preschool Ages 3 – 4

The Under the Sea Room welcomes our older preschool children in a fun and friendly environment. Original art work was created by Donna Hennig and the Whale Room artwork was created by Carly Schmitt.  The classroom is licensed for 18 children, with two teachers, making our ratio 1:9.

The room is divided into centers where children enjoy hands on learning with computers and age appropriate software, science, art, and dramatic play. Our program is designed so children will learn to have a solid foundation of important skills needed for success in kindergarten. The most important goal is that each child becomes an enthusiastic lifelong learner.

Our teachers introduce the children to Zoo Phonics, a curriculum that helps build letter and letter sound recognition, important building blocks for reading.

Meet Our Amazing Teachers:

Ms. Pam and Ms. Paloma are co-lead teachers of our Under the Sea classroom.  Both teachers helped us open Children’s Village since 2005. They enjoy a variety of special days with the children in their classroom, including Pajama Day, as you can see from this candid classroom photo!
